Job Description:
Apex Hospital is seeking a Nursing Incharge to oversee and manage the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The Nursing Incharge will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care, managing nursing resources, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations. This role requires leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to maintain smooth hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise nursing staff: Oversee and manage the nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures: Ensure all nursing practices comply with hospital regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate patient care: Ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality nursing care for patients and proper documentation of all procedures.
• Manage nursing resources: Effectively allocate nursing staff, equipment, and supplies to ensure optimal patient care and efficient hospital operations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals: Work closely with physicians, administrators, and other healthcare staff to provide the highest quality care.
• Ensure regulatory compliance: Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
• Manage budgets: Oversee nursing department budgets, ensuring proper resource allocation and controlling expenses.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Education: Registered Nurse with a degree in Nursing; additional management certifications will be a plus.
• Experience: Prior experience in nursing management, with a minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in supervising a healthcare team.
• In-depth knowledge of hospital regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle budgeting and resource management effectively.
